Breakthru Café (Food and Beverages)

Breakthrough Mission is set up to help the drug addicts and ex-offenders to reintegrate into the society. At Breakthrough Mission, residents learn new skills and work ethics through their social enterprise projects, attain spiritual growth through Bible study and regain confidence through acceptance and support from the big family of the Church. Breakthrough missions have several services such as Breakthrough Café, Breakthrough Art Craft, Gifts, Breakthrough Removal Services and Foot Reflexlogy. All these provide employment opportunities for the residents at Breakthrough, allowing them to acquire a new skill and cultivate habits of positive work life.

What are they looking for?

(i) No Of Interns:

 Can have 4-6 interns (either morning or night shift)

(ii) Starting Date:

 Starts from 2 June , meet up at 2.30pm for briefing

What are they looking for?

(i) No of interns:

6 interns (2 at Farrer Park outlet, 4 at Chengsan)

(ii) Job Requirements: 

Willing to work in the evening 4.30-9pm for Chengsan outlet, may have to help out in operations ( Café duties) during peak hours, work at least 48 hours a month.

(iii) Job Descriptions: 

Marketing Bliss through social media(FB, Instagram) , emails, come up with promotions idea, main purpose is to interact with the people with disabilities. Interns will be paired up with PWDs to act as their buddies, teaching and guiding them along the way. Interns could think of ways to reinforce trainings for PWDs. Interns can continue the project left by SAJC interns ( Project Abstinee: discount if you don’t use your phone)

Bizlink Centre is a non- profit organization that provides employment services for disadvantaged people, especially the disabled. Bizlink acts as a bridge to connect people with disabilities to potential employers and businesses, helping them to achieve independence. Also, Bizlink has recently opened a Bizlink Café, which is run by people with disabilities. Bizlink’s mission is to integrate people with disabilities into the mainstream society through open and sheltered employment.

Familiar in terms of marketing, loves social media and able to make use of it, right working attitude, have critical reasoning and thinking skills, creative, able to give critical opinions, think out of the box , knows the current trend/ fashion

Marketing strategies for Bizlink’s new catering services, raise awareness of Bizlink, mainly at Café side
