Dialogue in the Dark is a social enterprise that supports organizations worldwide with the implementation of Dialogue in the Dark exhibitions. The mission of Dialogue in the Dark is to facilitate social inclusion of marginalized people. Dialogue in the Dark aims to raise awareness and create tolerance for “otherness” in the general public and creating jobs for disadvantaged people by turning deficits into potential. There are many events under Dialogue in the Dark such as Dinner in the Dark and the exhibition, where participants are required to perform a series of activities in total darkness. This serves as a platform for us to better understand the difficulties faced by the blind.

SACS
Singapore Anglican Community Services (previously known as Singapore Anglican Welfare Council) reaches out to people in need, with the love of our Lord Jesus Christ. We provide refuge and relief for the psychiatrically disabled and people in crises. We aim to be an excellent caring Christian welfare organization effectively accomplishing the total rehabilitation of those under our care.
In
our crisis shelter, FCC provides refuge and counseling for families in
crises, battered wives, single parents and their children. For the
psychiatrically ill and emotionally disturbed, the four mental health
centres help clients to regain their confidence through the provision of
counseling, spiritual devotion, work therapy, vocational training and
job placement.
SACS also organises public seminars and exhibitions to raise public awareness of the problems faced by the psychiatrically disabled and of people who meet crises in their lives. In-house training are provided for staff and volunteers to provide our best support and services to the needy.
