 Singapore Anglican Community Services (previously known as Singapore Anglican Welfare Council) reaches out to people in need, with the love of our Lord Jesus Christ. We provide refuge and relief for the psychiatrically disabled and people in crises. We aim to be an excellent caring Christian welfare organization effectively accomplishing the total rehabilitation of those under our care.

In our crisis shelter, FCC provides refuge and counseling for families in crises, battered wives, single parents and their children. For the psychiatrically ill and emotionally disturbed, the four mental health centres help clients to regain their confidence through the provision of counseling, spiritual devotion, work therapy, vocational training and job placement.

SACS also organises public seminars and exhibitions to raise public awareness of the problems faced by the psychiatrically disabled and of people who meet crises in their lives. In-house training are provided for staff and volunteers to provide our best support and services to the needy.

Project 1: Something Old, Something New

Marketing and Publicity Intern
3) Job Description:
There are 3 thrift shops in HDB estates that serve the community by providing items at relatively low cost. We are looking for interns to help us plan:
a) how to publicise our stores to the residents of the communities
b) how to market our items better
c) how to utilise free online media to create awareness 
4) Job Requirements: 
- Interns need to be willing to work with people recovering from mental illness, to understand and empathise with them. To have a heart of compassion is important for us.
- Interns should have some level of skills and interests in marketing, to be able to speak and write in English and one other local language.
-Interns should also be able to be independent workers and be willing to get their hands dirty.

We are looking for design interns who will like to work with our in house designer to create items which our clients can replicate easily and well
